I heard about the newest PSA regarding texting while driving and saw a tiny clip the other day... but yesterday I saw the PSA in its entirety. WARNING!!! Please watch it without your children being present first. Make sure it is age appropriate. Personally, I think anyone old enough to drive or getting ready to drive soon should watch.
I also don't think it should be narrowed to just "texting" while driving. The scene as it is played out in the Texting While Driving PSA could be the same scene played out if you were playing with the radio, talking on your cell phone... anything you are doing while driving that takes away the attention you should be using on the road - on driving.
Yes, the PSA is dramatic. Yes, the PSA is shocking. Yes, the PSA is graphic. But it drives the point home.... hopefully. My son is six so of course I wouldn't let him watch it. I most definitely would/will when he is fifteen.
