When they have a fever or are throwing up, it's easy to make the decision to keep your child out of school. But what about when he just has the sniffles? When do you make that decision?

I keep my son home if; he has a fever head lice a rash that looks to be getting worse an eye infection like pink eye diarrhea vomiting Those are the only things he would stay home for, all else, he goes to school. Just "not feeling well" is an iffy, I always ask for symptoms, like does he have a stomach ache, a headache, tired, what are the reasons he's not feeling well. I've learned that if I don't ask for symptoms, "not feeling well" is usually a "just I don't want to go" excuse.
