In light of today's economy, and so many companies going out of business and people being laid off... how do you stretch a dollar? It's getting tougher and tougher for many people to make ends meet. I know I've always been a relatively frugal person - but have found I'm becoming even more frugal. Honestly, I think frugal is good. Frugal to me means NOT wasteful, among other things.
Although, I am frugal I wasn't into using coupons like I would have liked because it just took too much time and effort. I am working on changing that now. Another thing we did was to stop garbage pick-up at our house. We live outside City limits and have two Convience/Recycling Centers near us, so we now take our trash off ourselves once a week. This saved us approximately $200 a year.
There are so many things you can do to save money and we would love to hear some of your money-saving tips!
