I am on a quest.  I am determined to get a head start on losing weight even though it is the holiday season.  I am determined to NOT gain any more weight!  For the last 9 or so weeks I have been on a journey... one that I think will end at a place of well being.

I have lost 10 lbs.  It has not been easy for me.  Because I love to eat.  Well to be more precise - I love to eat too much (I have trouble with portion control).  So I got fed up with the 34 lbs I have gained since becoming pregnant with my son -- that was almost seven years ago, and I'm counting calories and fitting in exercise as much as possible. 

I can't always exercise so I am being a stickler about calories counting.  Which I have to admit sometimes leaves me feeling hungry at the end of the day.  So I've been drinking more water to stave the hunger.
