OK, look, I don't expect that any of you are going to say, "Yeah! I get sloppy drunk in front of the little ones all the time!" But I do wonder what the right balance is. We don't want to give our children such a complex about alcohol that they binge drink at the very first opportunity they get. Still, we want them to have a healthy respect for the power of alcohol. Plus, we need to be in good enough shape to care for them, no? Where do you draw the line? A glass of wine with dinner? A beer watching the game? A mixed drink after work? No alcohol of any kind, ever?
