Not to sound like I'm ancient, but we didn't have homework every day when I was in kindergarten. Rafael, every day when he comes home from school, has two pages of homework. It's not difficult, but it kind of surprised me. And I don't think it's bad. Just ... different. Just wondering ...

It's one thing to have lots of options for many photos of your children; it's another entirely when you can start getting blemishes airbrushed out. Am I off-base in thinking school photos have gotten out of control?

School districts seem to toss those random half-days of school at parents every now and again. Whether you work from the home or an office, those days can be difficult to schedule around. How do you handle them and how much planning does it take?
